This Cabernet-Merlot, Valais AOC appellation, comes from the vines of Domaine Diserens, Les Moines in Leytron. The “Terra Solis” comes from a blend of 40% Merlot, which gives it a magnificent roundness, 40% Cabernet sauvignon which makes it a good wine for aging and 20% Cabernet franc, which gives it fruity flavor. On the nose, spices, ivy and blackcurrant are present. In the mouth, its suppleness, its robust but elegant tannins are appreciated. Long vatting and 36 months aging in oak barrels make it an incomparably silky wine.
