This wine is made from a blend of Pinot Noir, Gamay, and half-sisters Mondeuse and Syrah. Its name, the Three Roses, recalls the emblem of André Baud's coat of arms, in homage to this family estate. The main player in this blend, Pinot noir gives it its distinctive red fruit aromas. The gamay adds further fruit to which is added a slight peppery touch from Mondeuse and Syrah. On the palate, it is a very greedy wine, which reveals a lot of fruit. Its aging in a wooden vase gives it very melted tannins which make it a pleasant wine that is easy to pair with your dishes.
